Dárida graduated in Film at FAAP (Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation) in São Paulo, studied set design at the National School of Cinema and Television in England and Architecture at Abra - SP. Has a Master's Degree in Multimedia Art - Performance and Installation at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and is currently doing a PhD in Performing Arts and the Moving Image at the University of Lisbon.
She has been working as a Production Designer and Art Director for feature films and short films, commercials, TV and new media projects, architecture and photography since 2005 and before that, she also worked within the art department of numerous films and artistic projects, as assistant art director, set designer, art producer and set decorator, where she was able to absorb solid experience and knowledge in the different fields of artistic production, mainly in the Audiovisual area.
Since 2016, she has participated in diverse Film, TV, Video and Multimedia projects in Europe, especially in Portugal, where her work as an audiovisual artist and researcher has been expanding into the territories of Contemporary and Relational Art, through the creation of Audiovisual Installations and Audio Performances using text, voice and the subjective temporal space, to create also immaterial landscapes, sets and scenarios, in the field of the expansion of consciousness.
